The Art that is Cyclocross
3 October 2013
Without doubt there is more skill to photography than simply pointing the camera lens and pressing the shutter button. The evidence is in the very few persons that become acknowledged as great photographers. Nevertheless, sometimes fortune rather than skill can produce an appealing photograph. Being at the right place and time and praying the focus was tracking were the requisites in capturing this photograph. And in the end, this image, of a sculpture of mud and flailing bicycle-racer, well represents the foul-weather, winter sport of cyclocross.
